It 's true that the President must be impartial, no doubt, between opposing factions, but if there is, so to speak, something from which " part" must be, this is undoubtedly the Constitution , which must be kept. Now, it is also true that the President of the Republic "is not liable for acts performed in the exercise of his duties" (Article 90), I think it is legitimate that we citizens can invoke it to protect the integrity of the Constitution and republican institutions.
